a short biography

Trevor, born August 8, 1990, grew up in the magical place that is called Bryant Wisconsin. His mother noticed at a young age how skilled he was with his hands. When his brother, Tyler, would eat, snap, grind, and destroy crayons, Trevor would gently and precisely remove the paper lining from the crayons. This discovery showed that even as a child he possessed the desire and skills that would lead to his profession as a designer.

Trevor was very close with his extended family spending weeks at a time with his cousins. Below are two results of these weeks together with his cousins, Jake, Aaron, Kaleb, Riley and Serena.

Trevor started playing and excelling in sports such as skiing, football, baseball and basketball shortly after he could walk. This became one of his great joys as youth through high school and into college. Although he excelled in Football and Baseball in high school, he decided not to carry that passion as he began his college years at the University of Wisconsin – Stout. At Stout Trevor majored in Multimedia Design, but the greatest change in his life came from his involvement in Campus Crusade for Christ, now Cru.

He would say that his Freshmen year in college is when Jesus Christ became his savior. The two people that year had a great influence on him were Robert Gangnon, and Derek Van Ruler, both of whom are now on their way to becoming pastors. They helped Trevor see that what mattered in God’s eyes was whether or not he acknowledged Jesus’ death as payment for his sins. Up to that point in his life, Trevor believed that the only way to please God was to make up for the sins in his life with good deeds. This truth drastically changed the course of his life. From that point on, God was no longer part of his life, instead pleasing him became the most important thing to him. This even lead to him courting and eventually marrying Laura Berenz on May 24, 2014.
